Who We Are
We are a Christian ministry dedicated to serving our community through photography services, sharing the Gospel, and prayer. As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that God calls us to serve one another both physically and spiritually. Through the services we provide, we seek to bless individuals and families, meet tangible needs, build meaningful relationships, and share the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Our services are offered as a gift to the community because we believe we have freely received God's grace and are called to freely give to others. Our desire is that every person we serve would experience the love of God's people, the life-changing truth of His Word, and salvation which is found only in Christ.
What We Believe
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and is the final standard for faith and life.
We believe that all people are created in the image of God and possess inherent value and dignity. However, because of sin, all people are separated from God and unable to save themselves.
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life that we cannot live, died an undeserved death on the cross for our sins and the death we deserved, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again.
We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by human effort or good works.
We believe that those who trust in Christ are forgiven, reconciled to God, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and given eternal life.
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ and is called to worship God, make disciples, serve others, and proclaim the Gospel to all nations.
The Gospel: An Invitation for You
The word "gospel" means "good news." The good news begins with God. God created us to know Him, love Him, and live in relationship with Him. He is holy, loving, just, and good. However, every person has sinned against God. Sin is more than wrongdoing- it is our rebellion against God's perfect ways. Sin is a crime against an eternal and holy God, therefore it receives an eternal sentence. Because God is holy and just, sin separates us from Him and deserves judgment. Sin cannot reside with holiness, therefore we cannot reside with God until we've been made clean.
You may feel like you're a good person, but on a scale from 1-10, with one being a "bad" person and 10 being a "good" person, God in His holiness is at infinity. The Bible tells us that no one except God is good. And with God being a just God- a good judge -it means He cannot forgive sin without the cost being paid. If a judge were to let a criminal who had committed terrible crimes, go freely, he would not be a just or good judge. So for God to be just and good, He has to punish sin. No amount of good deeds, religious activity, or personal effort on our part can remove our guilt or restore our relationship with God.
But this is where mercy comes in. God, in His great love and mercy, made a way to both punish your sin and forgive you of it at the same time. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, God incarnate, came into the world and lived the perfect life we could never live. Then He willingly died on the cross, taking upon Himself the punishment that our sins deserved. Three days later, He rose from the dead, demonstrating His victory over sin and death.
Because of what Jesus accomplished, forgiveness and eternal life are available to everyone who turns from their sin and places their faith in Him. This is the great exchange- that Christ took our sins upon Himself, and placed His righteousness upon us! When someone has a gift for you, you don't actually have the gift until you accept it from them. When you accept the sacrifice Jesus made for you, you receive salvation and are found righteous by your faith in what He did for you. Salvation is not earned, we could never earn it no matter how hard we strive; but it is received freely, by grace through faith.
When a person trusts in Jesus Christ, they are forgiven, made right with God, adopted into His family, and given the promise of eternal life. God also begins transforming them from the inside out through the power of the Holy Spirit. This invitation is for everyone. Jesus said, "Whoever comes to Me I will never cast out." We invite you to place your trust in Christ and experience the forgiveness, hope, peace, and new life that He alone provides.
A Response to the Gospel
Salvation comes through faith in Christ, not from repeating certain words or praying a specific prayer. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. If you would like to receive the free gift of salvation and invite Christ to be your Lord and Savior, all you have to do is trust and believe in Him and His finished work on the cross. There's no prayer required, but if you'd like to express your faith through prayer, you can say something along the lines of:
"Lord Jesus,
I come to You, recognizing that I am a sinner, and having realized the truth of the Gospel and that I cannot save myself. I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died on the cross for my sins, and that You rose again from the dead. Today, I turn from my sin and place my trust in You alone for salvation. Thank You for Your mercy, Your forgiveness, and Your sacrifice on my behalf. Thank You for taking my sin upon Yourself and clothing me in Your righteousness. Please forgive my sins and make me new. Thank You for the gift of eternal life and for welcoming me into Your family. Thank You for loving me so much that You died with me on Your mind before I was even created, and thank You that I'm now brought into right relationship with You. I invite You to be Lord over my life. Please help me to follow You. Thank You for giving Your life for me, now I'm giving my life to You.
In Jesus' name, Amen."
Remember, There is nothing magical about these words, what matters is a sincere heart before God.
If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, God's Word says that you are forgiven, reconciled to God, and have eternal life.
